Michael & Colette Trazinski currently live in Enfield, CT and have four children, two are married and two grandchildren
Michael & Colette were “Born Again” in the spring of 1977 and met at a Non-denomination, Spirit filled church in Windsor Locks, CT. In 1978 Michael attended Youth with a Mission (YWAM) where he was trained in the Word and in missions. The same year, Colette attended Christ for the Nations Institute (CFNI) and graduated in 1980 with an Associate degree in Theology.
After they completed their schooling, both returned to their home church in CT where they quickly assumed leadership roles in the young adult ministry. It was clear to them that God was bringing them together and they married in June of 1982. Michael felt to further his studies and enrolled at CFNI and graduated in 1985. He returned to their home church in CT with Colette and baby daughter and was offered a position of Associate Pastor where he served for 12 years.
In June of 1998 Open Gate Ministries International (OGM) was birthed in East Granby CT. The Church met at the Trazinski home in their front yard every Sunday. They had the service and then ate meals together every week through the summer until they obtained a building in the fall. As missions was a big part of the call on OGM, they were led by the Holy Spirit to start meeting in homes so as to concentrate funds on extending the Kingdom rather than paying all the necessary expenses to keep up a building. See ABOUT US OGM on this webpage.
